I’ve really enjoyed working on this project. It’s so simple yet so rewarding. Knowing that I’ll get a lot out of these colours. Would be great If I could automate the process through. Having to type in the CMYK, RGB and Hex code for each colour isn’t especially fun but I’m starting to really like the outcome here,
Below is a mock-up of how the instagram page might look. Each day will either be divided into three separate images that get uploaded OR each day will take up one tile. I’m not quite sure what I prefer at this stage. Probably the tile with all three in one.
As for the printed book, I want to keep it very simple. Colour on one side, image on the other.
All of the colour names are derived from the photograph locations. Gulf Hagas Aqua, a camping location in Maine. Ceiling Net Yellow, a museum exhibition in DC. Outer Harbor Blue, the Outer Harbor Crossing in Baltimore (That’s why ‘harbor’ is spelt the American way).
